IIBA Northeast Wisconsin Chapter

Your PMI Board has established an alliance with the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Business Analysis and Project Management are complementary and synergistic disciplines. What you may not know is that the IIBA used PMI as their model. This means they have a robust Body of Knowledge, education and certification opportunities, and worldwide chapters that function very much like local PMI chapters. So their business model and offerings should feel very familiar to anyone who has been with the PMI foreven a short length of time.

Effective immediately, members of PMINEW can start attending the IIBA's Fox Valley chapter events and monthly meetings at their membership prices. This discount will be reciprocated for IIBA members who wish to attend PMI-NEW events. The only exception is the IIBA Annual General Meeting, which includes Board elections and is only open to paid and active IIBA members.

The PMI-NEW Board of Directors enthusiastically encourages you to explore how this new alliance might benefit you. We are excited to provide this new benefit, and hope you get as much value out of it as possible

  • Networking - (i.e. business after hours, power networking breakfast, lunch 'n learn, etc.)
  • Information - (i.e. business financing, demographics, international trade, etc.)

Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce

As part of this new relationship, the Board of Directors has met with and will be meeting with Chamber representatives to discuss potential project management related opportunities.

An example would be the annual project management education day held in the fall with local area high schools. This event, organized with the Chamber, involves project management professionals spending the day with select high school students and teaching them about the project management profession and discipline and teaching them basic project management skills that can be used in almost any situation!
